About the BRCA Center
We see patients from all over the United States. Our office staff can provide you and your family with help finding accommodations or local attractions to enhance your visit.
Whether you have just been diagnosed with a BRCA mutation, or have been undergoing treatment for a long time, dealing with a medical hardship can be extremely difficult and overwhelming. Our team at the BRCA center facilitates every step of your care from the initial consultation to your long term followup. Because of the wide ranging effects that a BRCA mutation can have on the body we apply a team approach to caring for our patients.
At your initial consultation you will meet with a patient navigator and a genetic counselor who will help coordinate your care and appointments. You will also have the opportunity to meet with physicians in various specialties depending on the care you require. We have assembled a panel of experts uniquely qualified to diagnose and deliver all aspects of care required by patients with a BRCA mutation. All our physicians are fellowship trained and board certified in their specialties, which include: breast surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, reconstructive plastic surgery, microsurgery, reproductive endocrinology, diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, and urology.
