Dr. Kristin Byrne
Breast Radiologist
Dr. Kristin Byrne is a board certified radiologist and the chief of breast imaging at Lenox Hill Hospital. In this role she oversees comprehensive outpatient screening, diagnostic and interventional services of the breast center. Dr. Byrne’s clinical expertise includes interpretation of mammography, ultrasound and MRI studies. She is known for her gentle touch in performing interventional procedures such as stereotactic, ultrasound,
and MRI guided biopsies, and preoperative needle localization. She obtained her medical degree from the State University of New York in Brooklyn, and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by a Breast MRI fellowship in Boca Raton, Florida.
